The farming of our oysters begins with seeds from the best French breeders located in the Gulf of Morbihan and in the Marennes-Oléron basin, areas world renowned for the quality of their oysters. The location of our farm in the cold waters of the Atlantic is what determines the color and flavor of our product. Their only diet is marine plankton.

Marconil oysters have their own “terroir”, being the quality of the water, the salt, and the nature of the plankton which provides them with their special and refined characteristics thanks to the great currents in an environment so singular and unique in the world.

Thanks to farming in the open sea, our oysters have the maximum durability in a live state, equaling more than 10 days given they are kept in the appropriate conditions of maintenance and storage.

We recommend that you consume them within 7 days of receiving them to enjoy their maximum flavor and freshness.

CONSERVATION TIPS

We must respect the cold chain as much as possible and not have them at room temperature, refrigerating them as soon as they arrive at our restaurant or our home.
